Charming neighborhood with beautiful views.

My check-in experience was quite confusing as there was no staff available who could communicate in English, which made it difficult for me to ask questions. I also noticed discrepancies in the room amenities that were advertised versus what was actually provided. The breakfast offerings were quite basic and did not match the variety shown in their pictures. it lacked fruits and eggs, leaving much to be desired.

The cozy suite was a highlight with comfortable bedding and exquisite decor, making for a relaxing environment. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast with fresh pastries and the option of takeaway sandwiches, fueling a day of exploration. However, the host's demeanor felt unfriendly, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the breakfast setting in the lobby felt cramped and lacking in privacy, affecting the meal’s ambiance. The location required a steep walk which can be taxing with luggage, but once there, the historic charm shines.

convenient walks to iconic orvieto landmarks and parks

my stay was made memorable by the amazing proximity to breathtaking sites, especially the stunning Duomo just a short 5-minute walk away and the charming Chiesa di Sant'Angelo only a few steps from the front door, which allowed me to explore at my leisure without feeling rushed.

the bed was not comfortable. but the location was perfect. we enjoyed the spacious room with plenty of natural light. and the cozy atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable.

The location is perfect for exploring, just a short 5-minute walk from the Duomo. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, a relief after long days of touring. The view from my room was beautiful, showcasing the charming cityscape of Orvieto.

staying at sant'angelo 42 bed & breakfast was fantastic! the room was modern and comfortable, and we loved the charming neighborhood. we received a lovely coupon for coffee and pastry at a local cafe, which was a nice touch. it’s just a quick walk to the main attractions, too!
